There are 3 products.
A spore print is simply a collection of spores. With a spore print you can make your own spore syringes or use them for further research. Spore prints are made by cutting the cap of the mushroom and are then placed on something else (mostly paper, tin foil or glass slides) so the spores fall out of the cap and can be collected. All spore prints are produced under laboratorical conditions and are guaranteed contamination free. If stored correctly (cold and dark), spore prints can be saved for several years before it loses viability.

HOW TO GROW MAGIC MUSHROOMS FROM SPORE PRINTS
Growing magic mushrooms from spore prints is an easy way to have an unlimited supply of magic mushrooms all year round.
Whether you have purchased a commercial spore print or you already know how to make your own, these quick teks will make sure you produce the highest quality and quantity of the mushrooms of your choice. Cleanliness cannot be stressed enough. There are millions of species of airborne spores that can destroy mushrooms, yet thrive in the same conditions as them.
STERILISING THE SYRINGE
What you will need:
- Syringe
- Pot
- Clean, fresh water
- Iso alcohol
- Q-tip
Instructions:
- Over a high flame, bring the water to a rolling boil.
- Once boiling, start a ten-minute countdown. Let the water boil freely.
- Lower heat to a gentle simmer.
- Draw boiling water into the syringe and let sit for one minute.
- Squirt water into the sink. Do not squirt water back into the pot.
- Repeat four more times.
- Finally, draw water into the syringe and leave it to cool.
- Clean syringe cap with q-tip and iso alcohol.
- When cool, cap the syringe and place in the refrigerator.
HOW TO MAKE A SPORE PRINT AT HOME
What you will need:
- Mature mushroom
- Clean gloss paper or foil
- A glass
- Iso alcohol
Instructions:
- Over a high flame, bring the water to a rolling boil.
- Let the watter boil for 10 minutes.
- Sterilise glass inside and out with the iso alcohol.
- Clean your work surface and wash your hands thoroughly.
- Lay the clean paper or foil out flat.
- Cut off the mushroom stalk and place cap gills down on the paper.
- Cover cap with glass.
- Leave overnight.
- This step must be done quickly to reduce exposure to pathogens. Remove the glass and lift up the mushroom cap. You will see that the gills have released their treasure of spores overnight. There will be a mushroom print on the paper.
- Immediately fold the paper over the print.
- Place the folded package into a plastic bag and place in the refrigerator.
PREPARING SYRINGES FOR INOCULATION
What you will need:
- Pot
- Clean water
- Glass
- Iso alcohol
- Foil
- Spore print
- The sterilised syringe
Instructions:
- Bring the water to a boil over a high flame.
- Let the water boil for ten minutes.
- While the water is boiling, clean the glass thoroughly with iso alcohol.
- Make a foil lid to snugly fit the glass.
- Squirt the water from the syringe into the sink.
- Draw up 10ml of water and squirt into the glass.
- Immediately cover with the foil lid.
- Re-sterilise syringe cap.
- Refill syringe with boiling water and recap.
- Let the water in the glass cool.
- Remove the spore print from the refrigerator. Carefully unfold and tap the spores into the cooled water in the glass.
- Uncap syringe and immediately draw the spore-laden water into the barrel.
- Recap and refrigerate.
Your syringe is now ready to inoculate a substrate and grow more mushrooms! Multiply volume as needed. However, 10ml will inoculate 10x250ml containers of substrate. Please refer to our user-friendly PF-Tek to learn how to grow high-quality mushrooms at home.
